Crafted from authentic silver recovered from the Nuestra Señora de Atocha (1622), this mini bar pendant carries a piece of history around your neck. The original Atocha silver has been carefully recast into this stunning miniature ingot form — preserving the spirit of the treasure that spent over 350 years on the ocean floor off the Florida Keys. The front bears the iconic "ENTRADA" assayer's mark with crossed cannons — details pulled directly from the original silver ingots carried aboard the doomed galleon. The reverse is stamped "ATOCHA 1622" and hallmarked 925, confirming its sterling silver composition. Specs: ~0.8" wide | ~17g | .925 Sterling Silver (sourced from authentic Atocha salvage) Each pendant ships with documentation verifying the Atocha silver provenance.
From the research desk
A miniature ingot of Atocha silver, recovered by Mel Fisher's divers off the Marquesas Keys and mounted to wear. The Atocha went down in a hurricane on 6 September 1622; the mother lode came up in July 1985. On any Atocha piece the value sits in the Fisher documentation rather than the metal, so that paperwork is what we hand over with it.
